Muffin Tops & Love Handles
Muffin Tops & Love Handles is an editorial publication that aims to normalise belly fat. The book explores social pressures and stigmas around having belly fat through articles, interviews and the showcasing of photographers who visualise this pressure and celebrate body shapes through their art. Arists such as Alina Gross, Jenny Saville and Michaela Clarke are featured.
Kahlo and Her Clothing
A typographic zine about Frida Kahlo and her clothing. This was a quick redactive project where I reduced a book page to 35 random words and formed a poem from them. I chose to use the book Frida Kahlo, Making Herself Up resulting in a poem about her painted corsets.
Orange Hair, Don’t Care
My response to the phrase: ‘Everything About One Thing’, for which I made a book containing everything about Vivienne Westwood. Through extensive research I curated a collection of interviews, articles and photographs to reflect three aspects of Westwood’s career: the icon, the designer and the activist. The book is named Orange Hair, Don’t Care after Westwood’s iconic neon orange hair.
